Workshops for small business are coming!

Growing up in a small town more than an hour away from a major city in Australia, I am keenly aware of the challenges that small business owners can face when trying to access professional development opportunities. Things like travel time, the cost of training, and finding someone to cover your shift when there is a good chance you are your only employee are all significant barriers.

Small businesses are essential to the economy and the day to day running of small towns, and it is important that they are able to keep up with their big city counterparts. Not only do these passionate small business owners deserve to access training, new information and help, but their customers, who are also their neighbours, deserve it as well- without it, small towns get left behind.

Because of this, I have teamed up with a friend to create a suite of accessible, cost effective, bite size workshops that are specifically tailored to small business owners in rural and regional areas. These workshops will be delivered in community houses around regional areas in Australia, to keep costs down, and class sizes will be kept small to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to ask questions and receive personalised advice.

The workshops are:

- Social media

- Newsletters/EDM's

- Blogging

- Facebook advertising

Each workshop goes for two hours, and includes a take home booklet with everything you learnt. You are also added to a private Facebook group with your fellow participants, where you receive 3 months of ongoing support from myself and Sarah.

We are starting our tour in Torquay- find the details and book here:
